Please stabilize sys-fs/aufs2. I never had problems with it for a few years.

We have gentoo-sources-2.6.39-r3 stable now.

you are right. lets test the aufs2-2.1 and aufs2-2.2 ebuilds for a short while and ask for stable Okay?

arches please stable. why two version? 2.1 is for kernel <.35 and the other for >=.36

I didn't find in the kernel:
CONFIG_AUFS_EXPORT and CONFIG_EXPORTFS.

it is build as a module by the ebuild.

Installing sequence

clean /usr/src/KERNEL
emerge KERNEL-source
cd /usr/src/KERNEL
create .config
make modules_prepare
emerge aufs2

for runtime you need additionally

make && make modules_install && make install
emerge aufs2

tested only 2.2_p20110815 with .39 amd64 ok

Tested 2.1_p20110817 on 2.6.34-r6 kernel, amd64 ok.
NOT tested: pax_kernel (I don't use this).

please also keyword version 2.1_p20110817. 2.1 is for <linux-2.6.35 and 2.2 >=linux-2.6.35

ok, also done now (tested with 3.6.32-gentoo-r36).
