Sorry, I submitted the bug without finishing my sentence. I was writing: I don't understand the link with gem. For information: root@gentoo-nre ~ # emerge -ep rspec-rails|grep ruby [ebuild R ] app-admin/eselect-ruby-20100603 [ebuild R ] dev-lang/ruby-1.8.7_p302 [ebuild R ] dev-ruby/rubygems-1.3.6-r2 [ebuild R ] dev-ruby/rack-1.0.1 [ebuild R ] virtual/rubygems-0-r2 [ebuild R ] dev-ruby/rspec-1.2.9-r1 [ebuild N ] dev-ruby/rspec-rails-1.2.9 USE="-doc" So rubygems >= 1.3.0 is already on my system. Did you at any time install rubygems from the sources or use gem update --system? I'm afraid I made a gem update. Un-merging rubygem and emerging it again solved the problem. Thanks for your help and sorry for the time spent, I really thought that it was a real bug. |
