patch against latest ebuild
The ldflags issue is indeed fixes with latest version. However, there was a warning "please use append-cppflags for preprocessor flags". I've updated the ebuild to use append-cppflags instead of append-flags. The warning is gone now. I also raised eapi to 4 and kill the die. Please review
