/usr/local/opt/compaq-jdk-1.3.1/bin/alpha/native_threads/javac: error while loading shared libraries: libjvm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I think the problem here is that not all the library paths are listed in /etc/ld.so.conf

This is fixed in compaq-jdk-1.3.1-r3 and compaq-jre-1.3.1-r3.  Thanks!
