smbfs hasn't been maintained for a while, just like http://samba.org/samba/smbfs/ says. If you still think otherwise, please provide links, code snippets or a way to enable smbfs. smbfs has not been maintained in the last few years. Instead, development has been focused on another implementation of the CIFS protocol in the kernel. |
