Since media-fonts/ttf-bitstream-vera is becoming deprecated (see bug #282754), I am reviewing packages still depending on it for trying to make them depend on virtual/ttf-fonts or media-fonts/dejavu

The problem with media-plugins/vdr-burn is that I think it really requires media-fonts/ttf-bitstream-vera and, then, if you are able to confirm that, could you ask upstream to think about moving to media-fonts/dejavu?

I guess vdr-burn-0.2.0_gentoo-path.diff could be modified to use dejavu fonts instead

media-plugins/vdr-burn-0.2.2-r1

use now corefonts (arial) instead of ttf-bistream-vera (vera)

this is only tested for compile, but it should work, its are only fonts ;)

please keep this bug still open for next 4 weeks, 
it is still a version in the tree with ttf-bitstream-vera depend

media-plugins/vdr-burn-0.2.2

if we don't get a negativ feedback, i will remove the version then and the bug could be closed

removed last bitstream-vera depended ebuild from tree.
