It's a binary-only pre-built proprietary driver, shouldn't be in /usr/lib at all.

I can't move it directly to /opt because I don't know how to test it still works ok, and won't move it blindly :|

This will make trouble with depending packages, so leaving as it is. QA_PREBUILT ist set in current version.
