Bug 33548

Summary: make -up --deep world fails on bzip2 and mod_php

Description Martin Klaffenboeck 2003-11-15 03:58:50 UTC
When I try to do 'make -up --deep world' it fails after my todays --sync of my
portage tree. Yesterday I didn't have any troubles. Today there were some
packages moved issues. (about 4 I remember).

This is my output:

martin mod_php # emerge -up --deep world

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating world dependencies -
emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "sys-apps/bzip2".

!!! Problem with ebuild dev-php/mod_php-4.3.4
!!! Possibly a DEPEND/*DEPEND problem.

!!! Depgraph creation failed.

Where can I solve this to update my world?

Thanks,
Martin

For my it worked by re-emerging the packages that emerge complains about, e.g.

emerge --oneshot --nodeps dev-php/mod_php dev-php/php

Well, for mod_php it worked, but emerge -up --deep world still fails after re-emerging dev-php/php

It is a cache problem. The metadata/cache in portage still requires sys-apps/bzip2 for dev-php/mod_php dev-php/php & net-mail/amavis
Should be fixed by next emerge sync.
