(Please do not complain about the need for looking at the build log until you can provide an easy way to open bugs with the correct data picked out of a tinderbox log. Thanks.)

Log says about chicken-4.5.0, which is removed from tree. Also neither me, nor Erik Falor, new proxy-maintainer of chicken, have never seen this message. Can you explain how and why it appears?
Comment 3 Marijn Schouten (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-12-14 10:35:51 UTC
Hi Maxim,

you can find the relevant information from here:
http://hwoarang.silverarrow.org/2010/08/13/why-should-a-package-respect-ldflags-anyway/

Basically you add –Wl,–hash-style=gnu to your LDFLAGS which portage will check for in the final binaries.
Comment 4 Panagiotis Christopoulos (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-01-27 21:22:39 UTC
chicken-4.8.0 should respect them. I'll keep this open until we stabilize it and remove the previous.
Comment 5 Michael Weber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-07-08 12:25:14 UTC
chicken 4.8.0.3 is stable.
