after using genkernel to build the win4lin 2.4.22 sourcse I checked the modules
in the kernel section for the mki-adapter and it is missing.

the kernel is a custom build and is working without problems
it is installed and working in the win4lin-2.4.20 sources.

Is there a setting I am missing?

clarification: the mki-adaptor installs and works on the 2.4.20 kernel without any problems

I think this was fixed a while ago; the patch didn't work because of epatch getting things the wrong way round.
