Just renaming worked.

Renaming won't just work as the patch that was with gexiv2-0.1.0 is now applied at trunk.

That is incorrect, gexiv2-0.2.0 is specified as the required version in the shotwell-0.7.2 Makefile, and I have tested it successfully with that version. However, gexiv2-0.2.1 also works fine, and fixes a crasher bug:

Hmm, so it seems, thanks for the correction. I was reading this[1] and somehow thought that 0.2.1 was needed for the shotwell-0.7.2. I even checked through the Makefile when updating the ebuild of shotwell but somehow my brain wanted to see that depend there too. :)
