Actually, version 2010.08.24 came out since I posted earlier today--it works too. Hopefully, one of those two will make it into portage soon (hint, hint, nudge, nudge). But, if you absolutely must have it now, you can always just copy the older ebuild to the new version (using the same filename format--so, copy open-vm-tools-kmod-0.0.20100616.268169.ebuild to open-vm-tools-kmod-0.0.20100824.292196.ebuild), create a digest (ebuild open-vm-tools-kmod-0.0.20100824.292196.ebuild digest), and emerge it. Although, it will get wiped out when you sync and it will downgrade it when you update. 2010.08.24 version is in the Portage. Works for me. (In reply to comment #4) work for me ! Thanks |
