Description Sascha Silbe 2003-11-14 07:43:49 UTC
Compiling a custom config (in the example given below just the unmodified system config from /usr/share/fte) works, but when trying to use it, fte exits with an error.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. cd /usr/share/fte
2. cfte main.fte ~/.fterc
3. fte main.fte

Actual Results:
sascha@cube:/usr/share/fte$ cfte main.fte ~/.fterc
cfte 0.49.13
Copyright (c) 1994-1998 Marko Macek
Copyright (c) 2000-2001 Others
Compiling to '/home/sascha/.fterc'

Done.
sascha@cube:/usr/share/fte$ fte main.fte
Error /home/sascha/.fterc offset 2343

sascha@cube:/usr/share/fte$

Expected Results:
Start up normally with an editor screen.

Comment 1 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2003-12-11 09:02:59 UTC
After talking with the reporter, this bug seems to be an upstream problem.
It was not reproducible for me.
Comment 2 Sascha Silbe 2004-06-07 07:45:00 UTC
This is a dupe of Bug #21352 and has been fixed a few days ago.

Comment 3 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2004-06-15 11:09:43 UTC
