Can't say it seems ready to me: http://redmine.psi-im.org/versions/show/16 Maybe i was just confused by all the 0.15 versions here: http://code.google.com/p/psi-dev/downloads/list?q=Linux I'm pretty sure what you're seeing is psi+ version 0.15 (this is a completely different package as far as I can tell). The website for psi is http://psi-im.org/ and their download page doesn't seem to have anything about 0.15 anywhere on it. Or did I miss something? well, in the psi ebuild, it says: if use extras; then # some patches from psi+ project http://code.google.com/p/psi-dev ewarn "You're about to build heavily patched version of Psi called Psi+." ewarn "It has really nice features but still is under heavy development." ewarn "Take a look at homepage for more info: http://code.google.com/p/psi-dev" So the psi in gentoo seems to have something to do whith it, i guess. Psi+ is based on git (devel) version of Psi. Of course it's marked 0.15, since "git master" will eventually become 0.15 (and after that git version becomes 0.16, naturally). Psi upstream is nowhere near 0.15 (still even no RC). Typical CLOSED INVALID, if you ask me. I'm going to assign it to the maintainer and the herd for the moment, only because psi uses the psi+ patches. It should probably be their call how they want to handle this particular case. psi-0.15 is not released yet. So this bug is invalid. Please, open new bug report as soon as psi will be released. |
