Bug 334041 – KDE 4.4.5 Kmail 1.13.5 - kio_imap4 eats up too many resources

When I let kmail run for couple hours. The kio_imap4 starts to eat up memory. The only solution is to kill all kde processes and start it again. I'm running Kde apps in Openbox window manager.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.strart Kmail
2.connect to Imap server
3.let it run for couple hours

Actual Results:  
kio_imap4 12%CPU and 64%MEM. The system start to swap and slows down so much that is impossible to work. see attached screen shot

Expected Results:  
better performance
