Compile test is good enough, btw, I don't expect anyone to have required hardware on hands. Most of current stable wont even compile. ppc64 stable Compiles succesfull onn stable amd64 chroot. pilot-link ignores LDFLAGS. jpilot requires locale to be set to utf-8 during installation. With posix locale I get: "Couldn't find empty DB file /usr/share/jpilot/MaanaDB.pdb" Starting jpilot and pressing F5 for 'Backup' crashes with: 'jpilot: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/jpilot/plugins/libbackup.so: undefined symbol: gtk_spin_button_set_shadow_type'. That did not happen with the old jpilot-backup-0.53. Tested basic functionality with PALM TX (Some still have these hardware :-) ). Even backing up my pilot works well. jpilot-plucker also works well with old jpilot 0.99.9 (In reply to comment #3) > jpilot requires locale to be set to utf-8 during installation. With posix > locale I get: "Couldn't find empty DB file /usr/share/jpilot/MaanaDB.pdb" Sorry. that was wrong. The error message was: * This package installs one or more file names containing characters that * do not match your current locale settings. The current setting for * filesystem encoding is 'UTF-8'. * * usr/share/jpilot/MaanaDB.pdb * Output of 'locale' is: LANG=en_US.utf8 LC_CTYPE="en_US.utf8" LC_NUMERIC="en_US.utf8" LC_TIME="en_US.utf8" LC_COLLATE=C LC_MONETARY="en_US.utf8" LC_MESSAGES="en_US.utf8" LC_PAPER="en_US.utf8" LC_NAME="en_US.utf8" LC_ADDRESS="en_US.utf8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.utf8" LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.utf8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.utf8" LC_ALL= (In reply to comment #3) > pilot-link ignores LDFLAGS. Not a regression, won't be fixing it this round. > jpilot requires locale to be set to utf-8 during installation. With posix > locale I get: "Couldn't find empty DB file /usr/share/jpilot/MaanaDB.pdb" Fixed. > Starting jpilot and pressing F5 for 'Backup' crashes with: 'jpilot: symbol > lookup error: /usr/lib/jpilot/plugins/libbackup.so: undefined symbol: > gtk_spin_button_set_shadow_type'. That did not happen with the old > jpilot-backup-0.53. Fixed. amd64 stable x86 stable alpha/ia64/sparc stable (In reply to comment #8) > alpha/ia64/sparc stable > not really, alpha is mostly undone, i.e.: $ grep KEY * jpilot-plucker-0.01.ebuild:KEYWORDS="alpha amd64 ~ppc x86" jpilot-plucker-0.02.ebuild:KEYWORDS="~alpha amd64 ~ppc x86" dropped alpha from the plugins =dev-libs/libmal-0.44.1 "hppa ppc" =app-pda/jpilot-1.8.0 "ppc" =app-pda/pilot-link-0.12.5 "hppa ppc" ^^ those left Stable for HPPA. ppc done; closing as last arch |
