Could you please include some information about your X version, video driver, card etc... and the kernel you are experiencing this on, please try a 2.4 tree aswell and see if the problem persists. I'm using an ATI Radeon All-in-wonder, under the ati driver. I think it's NPTL's fault, so I'm trying to recompile my whole system with -nptl. It takes a little while ^_^', but I'll let you know if it gets fixed. My system is now a little bit too bound to the 2.6 series and trying to boot a 2.4 causes a kernel panic... anyway I've been running 2.6 for a while now, and the X problem showed up only lately. qpkg -v xfree -I qpkg -v ati-drivers -I etc etc etc could you try if upgrading (kernel and friends) helps? qpkg yadda yadda: x11-base/xfree-4.3.0-r3 * x11-base/xfree-drm-4.3.0-r6 * I don't have ati-drivers installed since I have a very old Radeon All-In-Wonder (r100) which is not supported. I attach below my XFree86 log and I'll try again with 2.6.0_test10 as soon as possible (quite busy right now). Created attachment 21320 [details]
