evolution-2.30.2-r1 starts normally, IMAP works fine, but after several fetches 
to a pop3 it freezes with the message 
Fetching Mail (0% complete)
It seems that the same problem with evolution has been noticed in other Linux distributions, but I have it under gentoo too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start evolution
2. fetch mail from a pop3 server a couple of times
3. at some unpredictable point evolution hangs



Expected Results:  
evolution should not hang, but fetch mail from the pop3 account as often as
one wishes

this bug makes evolution almost unusable for pop3 accounts

Do you get any error when running evolution from a terminal? Maybe you should also check on a new created user account, since I mostly use evolution with POP3 accounts and didn't notice this problem ever
