Do you still get this with 3.2.1-r1 (there have been some kde-related fixes in the last ooo-build releases..) Will compile it tonight. Nope, the issue isn't fixed. Please move to app-office/libreoffice and see if it works there. Nope, not fixed. Is this bugreport reported in upstream bugzilla? bugs.freedesktop.org (In reply to comment #6) > Is this bugreport reported in upstream bugzilla? > bugs.freedesktop.org Libreoffice will probably die following the Apache takeover. (In reply to comment #7) > (In reply to comment #6) > > Is this bugreport reported in upstream bugzilla? > > bugs.freedesktop.org > > Libreoffice will probably die following the Apache takeover. You are definitely entitled to have your own opinions on this matter, but please retain from this sort of entirely unproductive trolling on bug reports. This won't get anyone anywhere. LibreOffice is what we support right now, this might or might not change when the Apache OOo project ever gets on its feet. But right now this is the only functional upstream there is. If you are not interested in working with this, there's simply nothing we can do for you. But the upstream can change within a matter of a few days, so I think it's a good Idea to wait. Ok so I looked into this. The issue is that kio allows browsing anywhere, but the libreo can include only local files. The purpose of the link checkbox is from what i can see to specify linking to the local file rather than embedding it into the resulting document file. It has nothing to do with networking itself :), but yeah it would be cool if libreoffice allow that :) Feel free to open feature request on the freedesktop wiki, but given the 3000 currently open bugs i think we will get to it in the next decade... :/ Easier result would be to ban all kio features expect kio_file for local browsing... but also that requires filling the bug upstream not here. This is not something we in gentoo openoffice team could fix, so closing. |
