It seems OK for me (I have only tested the IRC plugin).
Comment 3 Peter Bienstman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-06-08 10:02:41 UTC
Works great for me (using gcc 3.1).

I'm having a problem. :-( Unfortunately I'm not (yet) a linux wizard, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. When I try to emerge kopete-0.4.ebuild configure ends with: -- cut -- checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.3) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation! For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log. Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support! !!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully. !!! Function kde_src_compile, Line -3699, Exitcode 1 !!! died running ./configure, kde_src_compile:configure !!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/net-im/kopete/kopete-0.4.ebuild . -- cut -- "ldconfig -p | grep qt-mt" gives me -- cut -- libqt-mt.so.3.0 (libc6) => /usr/qt/3/lib/libqt-mt.so.3.0 libqt-mt.so.3 (libc6) => /usr/qt/3/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 libqt-mt.so (libc6) => /usr/qt/3/lib/libqt-mt.so -- cut -- It's the first problem I've got with gentoo, so hopefully somebody can help me work it out. The installed version of qt is 3.0.4.20020606 gcc is 2.95.3 I'd be happy to supply more information if needed.

Martin, do you still have this problem with the newest version? Please let me know!
Comment 6 Bart Verwilst 2002-07-04 19:17:31 UTC
No answer, assuming the problem went away with the new version
