Description Brett I. Holcomb 2003-11-10 17:53:16 UTC
This ebuild fetchs the current version of jack-cvs and if the USE flag jack-caps is enabled then jackstart will be built. The existing versions of jack-cvs (0.7-r2 and earlier) do not allow for this.

This is my first real attempt at an ebuild. I have tested it by merging it on my system and it works. Let me know if it needs fixing.

Comment 2 Brett I. Holcomb 2003-11-14 18:13:45 UTC
Modified ebuild that includes fix to make jackstart work. I built jackstart and found it would not run even on a kernel built with modified caps. Jackstart failed with invalid checksum md5 on jackd. After discussion on the jack-dev mail list I found that --enable-stripped-jackd must be enabled. This ebuild adds that.
