When attempting to emerge dev-python/chaco-3.3.1 I get an error that it is Unable to access the X Display.  I have tried to set $DISPLAY, to no avail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  USE="doc examples" emerge "=dev-python/chaco-3.3.1"
Actual Results:
