I have already uploaded to dev:/space/experimental-local/mips/stages/loongson

So the request here is to kick this out to the mirrors that have chosen to mirror experimental/, as that was supposed to be manual process :)

And we'd like to know what sort of URL should we promote in the end, that wouldn't point at a specific mirror.

Tell your audience to "pick their favorite mirror" from : http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors2.xml

If you want to "advertise" something. You can't go wrong with http://distfiles.gentoo.org/experimental/
