sys-boot/yaboot-1.3.14-r2 need to be stable before i can stable GCC-4.4.4-r1 with SSP/PIE hardened support.

Marked ppc stable, you should be good to go. I'll be adding 1.3.16 once things settle down for ppc bugwise.
