eutils provides a sane/safe/standard way of mucking with shopts, so use it instead of local custom code

I'd rather leave these shopts alone for now. They are part of some compatibility code which will be removed later. Probably in early 2011.

All shopt and eval commands removed from elisp-common.eclass in CVS rev 1.66.
