I wanted to test this now with a test installation of LXDE inside Gentoo (not just others like Lubuntu). The issue is not happening inside LXDE, it happens only when I run lxappearance outside an LXDE session, in my case when I start an openbox session via startx. I am not sure if this bugreport should better be done upstream then, but I leave it here for now, since I did not have any such comparison (starting lxappearance outside and inside an lxde session) with another distribution yet. OK I saw now that there is an option for an openbox session login inside Lubuntu and I could reproduce the bug there. So this is something for upstream and I set the status accordingly. |
