I tried to update vim-core, but I get '404: Not found' and: '!!! Couldn't download 
vim-6.2.098-patches.tar.bz2. Aborting.' emerge tried round-about 15 mirrors. So it 
seems that this file is missing again - see bug #29059 (status resolved/fixed)
