Sorry for the delay. It is in the testing system for one week. I see you have 2 IPv4 addresses configured on this DNS name. Did you have resources to put both in the rotation or would you prefer only one?
Comment 2 Felix Krohn 2010-07-28 14:31:08 UTC
Enough resources are available. (2x 1Gbs)

Thanks,
Felix

Felix, I'm seeing some intermittant lag on your host. It could be from your source so I added your IP's to masterportage.gentoo.org. Please change to that for a few days so we can see if that fixes the issue.

This is for the portage tree only, the distfiles come from elsewhere.
Comment 5 Felix Krohn 2010-08-06 13:45:50 UTC
delays: possible, I had switched to another mirror to avoid running completely out of sync again.

This week I put masterportage back in, but still get

@ERROR: access denied to gentoo-portage from mir1.ovh.net (91.121.124.139)

from time to time.

Best regards,
Felix

Yea, I've seen that on my personal box too. It is acceptable for now. I'll get you in the rotation once I return from the weekend. thx
Comment 7 Jeremy Olexa (darkside) (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2010-08-10 21:29:46 UTC
You were already in the listings for gentoo-distfiles. Are you already syncing from masterdistfiles.gentoo.org for that?

---

for the gentoo-portage mirror:

You are mirror rsync2.fr.gentoo.org in the rsync.fr.gentoo.org rotation and have been added as rsync3.fr as well.

I think that is all here, I'm going to close this bug. Thanks again for your bandwidth and resource donations.

Jeremy,

the following error message:

@ERROR: access denied to gentoo-portage from mir1.ovh.net (91.121.124.139)

seems to be permanent now. Can you maybe check the ACLs again?

Thx, Felix
Comment 9 Jeremy Olexa (darkside) (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2011-02-07 15:40:36 UTC
You are definately in the ACL.

Comment 10 Felix Krohn 2011-02-09 12:08:55 UTC
I confirm that it now seems to work again, I still continue to get the "access denied" message from time to time (~1 daily, like before) but not all the time (like last week).

Thanks,
Felix
