Hi, it's keyworded `-* ~x86` with providing only x86 src_uri fields. It does not support amd64, sry. Michael But there were some x64_64 files mentioned at http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/oci/instantclient/htdocs/linuxx86_64soft.html . Tobias, can you integrate the amd64 files? Thanks Michael. (In reply to comment #3) > But there were some x64_64 files mentioned at > http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/oci/instantclient/htdocs/linuxx86_64soft.html > . Probably released much later than the x86 files. Oracle behaves quite unpredictable here :/ > Tobias, can you integrate the amd64 files? Thanks Michael. oracle-instantclient-basic-11.2.0.1-r1.ebuild
This is a hybrid ebuild that does both x86 and amd64.
Joerg's ebuilds didn't work appropriately for me. I've created a new one that just handles the differences in naming and does both amd64 and x86. Please consider updating portage as soon as possible. The current ebuilds use binaries that are both obsolete and not available for download! Created attachment 246782 [details]
