Description Tom 2010-07-02 14:46:23 UTC
I was able to compile 0.7.3-r1 after unmasking ~amd64 with the following:
 - linux-headers-2.6.30-r1
 - Linux 2.6.31-gentoo-r10

AFAIK it is masked because of the issues with 264233; but these seem to be resolved?

Apologies for any mis-reporting, thanks for your volunteerism.

Bugs I've added need to be fixed before CCing arches.

I'm working on stabilizing >= 0.8.0-r1. In particular, the pam.d/racoon file has only been fixed for 0.8.0 and not 0.7.3.

I'll change the title and CC the arch teams when ready.

The current candidate for stablization is 0.8.0-r3. Starting the 30 day countdown.

Arch teams this is long overdue :) Please start stabilization. I'm on ppc/ppc64 team so I'll take care of stabilizing those myself.

amd64: builds ~ok
(dependency sys-apps/keyutils-1.5.5 fails tests here - #426424)
I haven't done propper run testing as I am not much into these things.

Yeah this is not an easy one to fully test because its a vpn, so you need to set up at least two boxes and it can't run out of the box because the configs need to know the local IPs of each box. Having said that, I made the config as easy to read as possible, but you still have to edit them.

For what its worth, I've been using it as a vpn between home and work for months. My home router box is amd64. The one at work is x86.

amd64 stable
Comment 8 Jeff (JD) Horelick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-07-17 06:10:38 UTC
x86 stable. Last arch, closing.
