I am having the same issue with the new mozilla-firefox-3.6.6 when running in a chroot jail; it works o.k. when running unjailed. I have never had this issue with earlier FFs, either jailed or not. (maybe related: I am not running dbus in the jail and always compile with -dbus; could the dbus flag be borked?) This is a widely known issue. For now, check out this extension, which automatically deletes compatibility.ini so you don't have to: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/213326/developers If you can duplicate this with current ~arch please feel free to reopen. |
