Thanks for reporting Juergen. I wonder what you use for browsing as xdg-open calls into wine? What happens if you call 'xdg-open' with one of the mentioned files on the command line? I get the same error, if I do xdg-open /usr/share/doc/geda-1.6.1/wiki/geda-documentation.html . The reason seems to be the contents of home/rose/.local/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache , where I have [MIME Cache] application/x-wine-extension-ini=wine-extension-ini.desktop ... application/x-wine-extension-hlp=wine-extension-hlp.desktop application/x-extension-ask=scite-usercustom.desktop ... On a second PC with an empty ~rose/.local/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache the help system of gschem works. (In reply to comment #2) > I get the same error, if I do > xdg-open /usr/share/doc/geda-1.6.1/wiki/geda-documentation.html . Ok. So I will close this bug. If you think it is a problem with xdg-open please file a new bug for it. |
