I use also enigmail extensions: x11-plugins/enigmail-1.1 was built with the following: USE="custom-optimization dbus gnome (multilib) startup-notification -system-sqlite" CFLAGS="-march=core2 -mtune=core2 -pipe -fPIC -Wno-return-type -w" CXXFLAGS="-march=core2 -mtune=core2 -pipe -fPIC -Wno-return-type -w" I also noticed that after starting it the first time. Took about 10 minutes, and i do not see this anymore. I guess it rebuild the indizes of the database? I also use enigmail. Hi I add 100% CPU with 3.1-rc and stopped it, getting back to 3.0.5. But 3.1 kept it to ~70% and finished in less than 10 minutes on my G4. Nice progression :-) Global indexing was re-enabled, once the index is built you will notice the cpu cycles will decrease. |
