Bug 325289 – mail-client/evolution-2.30.2: IMAP account "Inbox" folder and subfolders disappears

Evolution 2.30 has a tendency to hide the "Inbox" folder of my only IMAP account. At certain points in the program, most commonly during mail checks and initial Evolution program start up, the IMAP account "Inbox" folder and all subfolders disappears from the left folder selection area without cause or explanation. The folder disappears completely with this bug. There is no blank space in the folder list after the folder disappears from the list.

This behaviour persists until I go into account preferences and disable/re-enable the account. The workaround is only temporary. The folder disappears again after a couple of minutes of usage.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Evolution.
2. Wait for "Inbox" folder under the IMAP account to disappear.
Actual Results:  
The "Inbox" folder and all subfolders under the IMAP account disappear and are inaccessible until the walkaround steps are performed.

Expected Results:  
The IMAP account "Inbox" folder and all subfolders should be visible and accessible.

I don't suffer that bug (at least for now), but, please, try to run evolution from a terminal and look for error messages when this problem occurs.

Does it fail on a new created user account?
