Description Jim Ramsay (lack) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-06-16 15:06:07 UTC
I *think* this may be the last library I'm actually missing to add amazon.com's mp3 downloader binary software to the tree.

(Though it is less urgent now, since net-misc/clamz is in the tree)

But for completeness, it makes sense to me that since we have libglade in gtklibs we ought to have libglademm in gtkmmlibs?

Are you sure we need net-misc/amazonmp3 now that clamz is available? I say it because seems that only it needs app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-gtkmmlibs...

Thanks for the info :-)

A valid point!

Well, net-misc/clamz is commandline only. I've also got my eye on a python-based GUI that also does this same thing (pymazon, bug #321599) -> Once upstream has fixed a couple outstanding issues, I'll be adding it to the tree for sure.

How about this... Let's hold off for now. If pymazon is ready soon, I'll throw that into the tree, and turf amazonmp3 entirely, at which point you can get rid of emul-linux-x86-gtkmmlibs too!

OK, then, we will at least wait until the next emul set and, then, re-evaluate the situation ;-)

amazon mp3 downloaded was dropped finally, this is not needed then
