hrmm, it doesn't crash for me, but spelling doesn't seem to be enabled anymore after 1.0.5-r1 do you have a backtrace of the crash from gdb? sorry, no backtrace - evolution was stripped. I just got that one message saying there was an error trying to open /usr/lib/aspell (which I stupidly didn't save). This was my main work machine, so I can't easily reproduce w/o giving up Evolution for awhile; I'll see if I have some downtime where I can reproduce. Oddly, my home machine is fine with -r1; perhaps it was an enchant problem and not directly a gnome-spell problem? (1.0.0 at work, 1.1.1 at home). The gnome-spell ebuild just wants >= 1.0 for enchant. Again, time allowing, I'll see if I can reproduce. if you used pre 1.0 versions of enchant you might have run into libtool problems later on, a recompile should fix that. If you can't reproduce it anymore, i'm gonna close this one. closing, no reply |
