It writes logs to ~/.virt-manager I use these features on a daily basis and it works fine. If the machine is freezing, more than likely your issue is much lower down in either qemu-kvm or potentially in libvirt in what its passing to qemu-kvm Please attach the XML for the created virtual machine that causes this problem as well as attempt to create the virtual machine via virsh or via qemu-kvm command line directly and confirm that the issue is in fact in virt-manager and not lower down. I've tried on different machines with different version of qemu-kvm and libvirt. Only problem was with virt-manager. Always stucked on Booting from... when there were selected two items for booting... Hmm log contains only things from today (old version of virt-manager) Please perform the following: 1) attach virt-manager logs 2) attach the libvirt XML file that virt-manager created via libvirt for the VM having the issue 3) attempt to create the VM via qemu-kvm command line to confirm where the issue is. |
