Bug 323539 – kde-4.4.85: no context menus for tray icons of kde apps

With all of the KDE-4.4.8x snapshots so far (i.e. .80, .81, .85) I'm experiencing the following problem: the tray icons of KDE-integrated applications don't have a context menu. When I right-click them, nothing happens. Left-clicking works as expected. 
Examples for icons without context menu: kopete, konversation, amarok, klipper, kxkb, kwallet, kmix
Icons of not KDE related apps do have a context menu, for example: skype, opera, gmpc

My system is ~amd64 (+ kde-4.4.8x unmasked from the kde overlay), all packages are fully up to date. The recent Qt update from 4.6.2-r1 to 4.6.3 has not affected this problem in any way (I did recompile kdelibs-4.4.85 afterwards). 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install kde-4.4.85
2. Right-click any of the tray icons of a KDE app (kopete, amarok, etc. see above)

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:  
The context menu of the respective tray icon should pop up.

Yes, it was an upstream bug and it was fixed (since 4.5.0 AFAIR)
