Description Stefan Schmidt 2010-06-03 11:58:38 UTC
The pdns-recursor package installs the init-script /etc/init.d/precursor which can be a bit offputting for systems administrators coming from other distributions.
I for one coming from debian initially looked for /etc/init.d/pdns-recursor which i also consider a more logical choice.

Reproducible: Always

ANy news on this one?
Comment 2 Ortwin Glueck 2012-10-30 19:02:09 UTC
+1, given that 'precursor' is a real English word, which is totally unrelated.

Starting with pdns-recursor-4.0.0-r1 the init script has been renamed to pdns-recursor.
