Starting with 2.4.22 the required overlay for samba4 is part of the package

I guess the patch needs to RDEPEND on >samba-4 when the use flag is enabled

no its only an overlay so no need for this like ppolicy or smbkrb5passwd it don't have a buildtime depency on samba4

if samba4 sometime in the future supports external ldap server (the provition script don't support configuring alredy set up openldap servers always configs a new ldap server and for this the openldap system needs to have the samba4 overlay support more at http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4/LDAP_Backend/OpenLDAP ok that was a little offtopic) the samba ebuild will depend on openldap[samba4]

Added to 2.4.28-r1 as USE=overlays.
