I just added the gentoo header to the ebuild that is already here.
It looks good. I installed it and tested it out... worked with the .mp3, .ogg,
and .mod's I threw at it.
Hi Rob, seemant reminded me about copyright law. We actually can't use your ebuild unless you agree to the copyright information I attatched to the top of the ebuild (see my attatchment). I actually wasn't supposed to modify that, so I apologize for doing so without your consent. Do you agree to turn over copyright of this ebuild to Gentoo so that we may include it in portage? Setting to can't fix since the author has not ssigned copyright to gentoo... lol... my apologies for not checking back.. I *did* check back every now and then for a couple of months, but gave up after about 3 months... for the record, yes i give permission.. wack a GPL2 header on. (not that it matters.. someone else beat me and made another ebuild...) In other news.. eq-xmms 0.5 seems to not be liking xmms 1.2.8 on my laptop (segfault).. I'll post a new comment probably under the other ebuild's bug number.. or submit a new bug.. I'll play around with it a bit first.. can you submit a new bug with a backtrace? It worked fine for me when I tried... --Jermey |
