these files are different.

In autogen it provides two functions:
AC_SNPRINTFV_CONVENIENCE
INVOKE_SNPRINTFV_MACROS

In gnu-small-talk:
AC_SNPRINTFV_CONVENIENCE
AC_SNPRINTFV_INSTALLABLE

first function is identical in both packages. Now taking into account that 
1. AC_SNPRINTFV_INSTALLABLE is not used in gnu-small-talk
2. snprintfv.m4 is the only marcros gnu small-talk installs

I suggest to drop installation of this macros from gnu-small-talk.

neither package should be installing this file.  autogen will be fixed in Bug 347095, so let's leave this one to fixing gnu-smalltalk.

This bug is fixed on latest gnu-smalltalk-3.2.1.
