Bouncing back to wranglers... This isn't really something that should be handled by sound. "This is a small program to reseed the Linux kernel random number generator with data from soundcard." (from the README) Created attachment 27010 [details]
audio-entropyd-0.0.6.ebuild
Author updated package to not need extra library and made paths better when you
extract.
I'm much happier with the second ebuild (0.0.6). If anyone has any objections to it going in the portage tree speak up or forever hold your peace. oh wow, i just commited audio-entropyd without first checking bugs (oops), my ebuild wasn't nearly as elegant so i'll go change it now.. Sorry for stealing this bug, I've been playing with this for a few days and entropy is one of those hardened things anyway :) No apology necessary. I was just waiting to see if anyone objected to the second ebuild. Method, thanks for noticing this. It would have been the second time someone has rewritten an ebuild that I've had sitting in buzilla for months. I think this is closed. Can you confirm, Joshua? yep |
