ipv6 is not enabled for the following kernels: alpha ia64 ppc-ibm (2.6.24) ppc64 I'll have to do a conditional note for these arches about not setting ipv6. @arch maintainers: can you investigate whether ipv6 is practical, and if so, it needs to be in your kernel config. I imagine someone on the Releng team may need to make the actual commit -- dunno if there's even anyone on the team still who can do that. Once the kernel configs are updated to include ipv6, let me know on this bug so I can remove the conditional note. (In reply to comment #1) Okay, conditional note for alpha, ia64, and ppc64 added. Fixed for all other arches. Arch teams/Releng, please let me know what's up with ipv6 support for the kernel configs. Thanks. alpha/ia64 have ipv6 in latest autobuild :) (In reply to comment #3) > alpha/ia64 have ipv6 in latest autobuild :) Thanks; fixed in the handbook for Alpha and IA64. Now we just need the PPC64 team to let us know what's goin' on. I just looked at releng's SVN, and it looks like ipv6 support for pp64 was added a couple of months ago. Removed the last warning from the handbooks. Thanks, guys! |
