Status: RESOLVED INVALID

Description Adam 2003-10-27 13:31:19 UTC
I ran '$ emerge wolk-sources' as my kernel after a fresh gentoo install, and in
/usr/src/ there was no linux symlink.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Comment 1 Shahar Goldin 2003-10-28 22:14:21 UTC
Do any of the kernel ebuilds do this?
if so THAT would be the bug
mainly because the symlink would be moved to the new kernel before it is
installed, causing immesurable problems.
I know mm-sources and development-sources don't.
Comment 2 Brian Jackson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-12-10 09:20:02 UTC
the eclass will set the /usr/src/linux link if it isn't already set, other than that the ebuilds shouldn't be changing the /usr/src/linux symlink
