If you don't need the firmware which fails to download you can set DVB_CARDS="your_firmware" in /etc/make.conf. This way only the firmware you need gets downloaded and installed. We can do nothing about unavailable servers. Maybe there is an alternative source we can use. If there is not, the firmware should be removed from the ebuild. Drivers are available in URL as http://hotfile.com/dl/96601973/761b733/algzar99-com-twinhandtv2-608a-zip.html (found using Google). If this driver is not directly downloadable, may be the ebuild has to add a check in order to tell the user download the file and put it into /usr/portage/distfiles removed |
