xarchiver won't open .tar.xz files. At all.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
tar -cJf temp.tar.xz somefiles

working ebuild for broken patch

the patch seems to be wrong: xarchiver can now open xz and show its contents
but it hangs on extracting .tar.xz and segfaults on extracting .xz

Where did you get this patch? Is it submitted upstream yet?

I talked to the rworkman on irc. Not upstream yet and probably won't be because author rewrote the code. A chance this patch will be dropped on next release.
