Created attachment 232333 [details]
working ebuild for broken patch
the patch seems to be wrong: xarchiver can now open xz and show its contents
but it hangs on extracting .tar.xz and segfaults on extracting .xz
SNAPSHOT [extra/xap] Updated xarchiver-0.5.2-i686-64.1.txz (version patched to include xz support; patch by Robby Workman) http://support.zenwalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=25656 how to make this work on gentoo? rworkman's Slackware Packages http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:hbjH8D1p-noJ:rlworkman.net/pkgs/+Robby+Workman+xz+patch&cd=1&hl=ru&ct=clnk (In reply to comment #1) > Created an attachment (id=232331) [details] > xz support patch > Where did you get this patch? Is it submitted upstream yet? I talked to the rworkman on irc. Not upstream yet and probably won't be because author rewrote the code. A chance this patch will be dropped on next release. +*xarchiver-0.5.2-r2 (13 Jun 2010) + + 13 Jun 2010; Jeremy Olexa <darkside@gentoo.org> + +xarchiver-0.5.2-r2.ebuild, +files/xarchiver-0.5.2-add_xz_support.patch: + Revision bump to add .tar.xz support, bug 320849 (Patch from slackware). + Small style changes to DOCS installation and xfconf_use_debug. |
