Required for gcc-4.4.3-r2 to go stable.  The test suite is long and intensive.  It takes me about six hours on a Core2, so you might want to set aside a day for it.

Testing on x86:
I went through the testsuite once. 
All tests passed, all useflags good. 
Looks good to go stable to me.
