Build log
output of 'emerge -pqv =x11-libs/openmotif-2.3.2-r2': [ebuild U ] x11-libs/openmotif-2.3.2-r2 [2.3.2] USE="doc jpeg png unicode -examples -xft" X11/extensions/shape.h is provided by x11-libs/libXext, not a proto package (in 1.7/1.8 server, AFAICT). Are you sure? I have x11-libs/libXext-1.0.5 installed and it does not provide such headers. Which version do you have? It seems that x11-libs/libXext-1.1.1 provides the required headers. So please could somebody make x11-libs/openmotif-2.3.2-r2 depend on >=x11-libs/libXext-1.1.1 or some older version greater than 1.0.5 which provides the headers? That would fix the bug I guess. Thanks (In reply to comment #4) > I have x11-libs/libXext-1.0.5 installed (In reply to comment #0) > Steps to Reproduce: > 1. emerge x11-proto/xextproto-7.1.1 x11-proto/xextproto-7.1.1 has a blocker against "!<x11-libs/libXext-1.0.99". So how is it possible that you have both libXext-1.0.5 and xextproto-7.1.1 installed at the same time? That second emerge shouldn't have succeeded. No answer since three weeks. Closing. |
