I'd really rather not go with a release candidate on a package like this unless there's some REAL pressing need that you need this version because of some major bug fix that we can't apply as a patch to the current version... Confirm and reopen. Cardoe: I put sys-fs/cryptsetup-1.1.1_rc1 before so there would be a working cryptsetup with the newer LVM2. Hi! I want to add a note to this RFE. In the current stable cryptsetup (1.0.6-r2) there is a bug that prevents to create encrypted partitions which are recognized by hal. The reason is, cryptsetup < 1.0.7 does not write metadata to a partition correctly and confuses hal. It prevents automounting mechanisms from working.
